RARE 13 STAR ANTIQUE AMERICAN FLAG , 1861-65
13 -Star American National parade flag whose stars and stripes represent the original 13 colonies dates back to the Civil War Period or prior and boasts an exceptionally rare “Snowflake” star pattern. Parade flags from this circa made with this beautiful pattern are in a class all by itself as there remain only a scarce handful establishing this heirloom to be a treasured sought after gem for the discerning collector.

Printed on coarse cotton; minor to moderate staining throughout, fraying mainly at the top and bottom and still attached is the original 7” wooden staff in aged patina
Frame size 17.25“H x 15.25 “L x 3 “ Thick, the flag presents itself beautifully while mounted on acid-free black cotton backing surrounded by an antique wooden frame painted black with a striking linen mat board and encased in UV protected glass.
