Forty-five Star American National Parade Flag made of glazed cotton offered in an uncommon calypso coral red color, with aged white stripes and it’s stars configured in a notched pattern in rows of 8-7-7-8-7-8 printed on a navy blue color canton.
The 45-Star flag represents the inclusion of Utah, admitted to the Union on January 4, 1896 and became the official star count later that year on July 4, 1896. The 45-Star flag remained official for 12 years up until the inclusion of Oklahoma, the 46th State officially added to the Union on July 4, 1908. The Spanish-American War fought under this flag, and Presidents Grover Cleveland, William McKinley, and Teddy Roosevelt each served under the 45 Star Flag.
Condition includes material loss and staining throughout as pictured, sizes are approximate, flag is pressure mounted on 100% pre-washed cotton fabric (black) over cotton batting and an acid free backing, vintage wood frame, black with antique gold trim
