George Harrison personally signed letter thanking Capitol records executive Marvin Beisel, for his help establishing Apple Records in the United States for John, Paul, Ringo and George, dated 1968. Also included in the custom (HxL) 16 1/2"x22 1/2" vintage framing, is an original photo of Harrison seated in the center, Marvin Beisel to his right, and other Capitol Record executives on his left. The letter and picture in original mat and wood frame, in excellent condition.

Also offered: two original photos; frame 12"x15" vintage color, similar to the smaller black and white picture in the frame; 2nd 12"x15" black and white photo of Paul McCartney, George Beisel; identifying label on the back dated June 22, 1968, Century Plaza Hotel, Hollywood, California.

Apple Corps: The Beatles for the launch of Apple Records
"On June 21, 1968 Paul McCartney attended the Capitol Records Convention in Los Angeles. It was then announced that The Beatles would record, produce, and release their music in the United States and Canada under their new Apple Corps Music label. Capitol Records would be responsible for the manufacturing and distribution of their releases.
Also a United States Air Force Recruiting Office award to Marvin Beisel in recognition of his devoted service in the US Recruiting Office, 1962.
